My first attempt at a comic page for my "Alice in Wonderland" project. If you are confused, I'm sorry. All will be clear later. For now I'll confuse you more by referencing you to this pathetic excuse for a digital camera picture of a sketch I did a million years ago . . . [link]

They're related. The Underland project is the first chapter of a much larger venture which I doubt I'll ever develop fully, but which has proved a convenient vehicle for all of my personal stories. This larger venture is mostly a tribute to several of my personal art deities--Tim Burton and Neil Gaiman most especially, though. If you know the common factor between them, then you know what this comic/story/art mess is a pathetic tribute to.

Thanks!!! It's my first EVER. Can you tell? XD Well, hopefully it will get better with practice. This was my first attempt at photoshopping random ugly sketches I had and making them look comic-worthy. I'm surprised it works so well. I have the people at Blambot to thank for it. Without the cool fonts it looks ridiculous.

Ah, that's the best compliment I've ever gotten. :D

Speaking of Sandman, I have a GREAT idea for a page featuring Delirium . . . that will be hella fun to draw. Of course I'll have to add color . . . can't skip out on the pink hair now, can we?

You might try having little patches of crosshatching inside the black next time, the big areas of black make some of the sketchy stuff look more fluffy but if you had patches of sketchy shading it might balance out. Just a suggestion ^_^

I'm glad you like it. I really need to improve upon it, and the next one, but I've been experiencing some stickiness with my artwork lately and have taken a break from it. Writing has been my goal lately. Soon . . . perhaps, soon . . .
